Mascha
DJ, Producer, and True Berliner. Born and raised in the German capital, she was exposed to music from an early age. Her mother worked in the Berlin club scene, her father was a singer and guitarist in a punk band, and her grandfather was already performing on stages in East Germany in the early 60s with his band. It's evident: Mascha has music in her blood, or at least in her genes.
After her first DJ set at the age of 18, she immersed herself in the turntables of the Berlin underground rave scene and various festivals. Mascha hosted a weekly radio show on the mexican radio station Aire Libre FM with her colleague and friend Kris Berle, quickly finding connections in the Mexican club scene.
Around 5 years ago, she started producing her own music. Following a track release and a collaboration EP with label owner Indy Nyles (Important Jogger Label), and after that her first solo EP titled "NOTIONS." Her musical interests are broad, drawing inspiration from Detroit, Acid, Industrial, 90’s Techno realms, as well as Pop/RNB and 2000s HipHop.
In her sets, she skillfully blends these diverse styles together, and in her productions, she values the perfect mix between groovy variation and fast, hypnotic monotony.
